.... and patience is now at 33.33%

Here are some of the things that people have been saying when they see that you are pregnant... maybe they shouldn't say them! I mean don't they know that pregnant women are hormonal, emotional messes?

~Are you going to eat all of that? (careful you keep on I might eat your arm too!)
~Are you supposed to be that big already? (do you want to walk around with two black eyes?)
~Rub belly without asking (um... let me grant you three wishes)
~Are you pregnant? (no I am hiding a freakin' watermelon under my shirt)
~Get all the sleep you can now (translation: you are NEVER going to sleep again)
~Wow, your pregnant? Hmm... (translation: you are totally screwed... um duh... that's how I got in here in the first place ;)
~Your getting fatter (gee thanks and you are getting uglier)
~You look tired (well I know weigh 9 pounds more and it is hard carrying a baby)

16 weeks.... huffin' and puffin'

So here I am 16 weeks and 2 days... wow time has flown by!

The nausea has finally gone away but the tiredness has crept in! I feel like I could sleep forever. We have just got back from our babymoon to San Francisco and Napa & Sonoma Valleys.

Wine Country you say? While pregnant? Believe it or not there were a lot more pregnant women out there than I expected. I got a lot of mixed emotions when I politely passed on the wine they were pouring. Some people gave me weird looks until I explained to them I was expecting. Even the expecting comment got some weird looks... oh well... My doctor told me I could partake in a glass of wine or two while I was out there, but I can't get past the smell. But all the wineries has some non-alcoholic soda made from the same grapes as their wines, so most of them made sure that I had something in my glass.

We took a mile hike through Muir Woods which is full of the giant famous redwood trees and I felt the best I ever had since my pregnancy began. The air was so fresh and so full of oxygen that the mile hike didn't even affect me one bit.

Now fast forward to this morning and my walk up the two stairs to my office, huffing and puffing as I sit down at my desk.... now I just feel fat.

They say that pregnant women find some type of aversion to foods or smells during their pregnancy... mine... drumroll... freakin' toothpaste.... yes toothpaste. Everytime I brush my teeth I am on the verge of throwing up. It is ridiculous!
